REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL
LEASE AND OPERATION OF CRYSTAL SPRINGS AND MORTON CEMETERIES
The City of Benton Harbor is seeking proposals for the lease of Crystal Springs and Morton Hill Cemeteries (“Cemeteries”) in Benton Harbor, MI. All land, buildings and other improvements now within the Cemeteries, together with all records of the Cemeteries, will be included in the lease. The Cemetery property is owned by the City, managed and operated by an appointed Cemetery Board of Directors. The Crystal Springs Cemetery consists of 120 acres and Morton Hill Cemetery 2.78 acres.
Only completed proposals from principals will be considered; individuals in representative, agency or consultant status shouldn’t submit proposals. Eight (8), sealed copies of the proposal and related material, together with a $5,000 deposit must be submitted by hand or registered mail, and must be received no later than 3 P.M. on May 28, 2013 to:

The City of Benton Harbor reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, and to waive any irregularities which will result in producing the best interest of the City.
